Who I Work With
Therapy for the roles, identities, and experiences that shape your life
Healing Yesterday Counseling offers online therapy for adults (18+) across California who are navigating the emotional weight of responsibility, cultural expectations, and life transitions. My work is especially aligned with individuals who carry a lot for others while feeling unsure where they fit or how to care for themselves in the process.
While therapy is not limited to any single background or role, I have particular experience supporting first generation adults and educators who are managing stress, anxiety, grief, and burnout alongside high expectations and complex life demands.
1. First Generation Adults
Many first generation adults carry the pressure of balancing cultural expectations, family responsibilities, and personal goals. You may feel pulled between honoring where you come from and trying to create a life that feels sustainable and true to you.
Therapy offers space to explore identity, manage anxiety and guilt, and build boundaries without losing connection to what matters most.

2. Educators and School Staff
Educators and school staff often give a great deal of emotional energy to their work while receiving little space to process their own stress. Whether you are a teacher, counselor, administrator, or support staff member, the demands of caring for others can lead to burnout, overwhelm, and emotional fatigue.
Therapy provides support for managing stress, reconnecting with purpose, and protecting your wellbeing inside and outside of work.
