Healing Yesterday Counseling offers online therapy for adults (18+) in California. I support clients facing anxiety, grief, cultural adjustment, and major life transitions. Sessions are collaborative, structured, and guided by two evidence-based approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

1. Anxiety and Chronic Stress

Anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, or a constant sense of tension. It may feel like you’re doing everything “right” but still can’t relax. Therapy provides tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and feel more grounded in daily life.

2. Grief and Loss

Grief can take many forms—sadness, anger, numbness, or disconnection—and affect your ability to move forward. Whether you're grieving a loved one or a major life change, therapy offers a safe space to process painful emotions. Together, we’ll work toward healing with compassion and clarity.

3. Life Transitions and Adjustment

Big life changes can bring confusion, overwhelm and overwhelm. Therapy helps you find stability during times of change, whether you're starting over, navigating a new role, or adjusting to a different season in life. We’ll work together to clarify your needs and build confidence in what’s next.

4. Trauma and Emotional Overwhelm

When past experiences still impact how you feel or react, therapy can help you begin to heal. Using EMDR and CBT, we’ll work to gently process distressing memories and reduce emotional triggers. The goal is to support long-term emotional balance and a greater sense of peace.
