About Me
Hóla, I’m Fatima. I’m glad you’re here!
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #17018) based in Aliso Viejo and providing online therapy for adults throughout California. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and cultural adjustment, using a grounded, compassionate, and goal-oriented approach.
As a bilingual, bicultural therapist and first-generation Latina, I understand the complexity of balancing two cultures, intergenerational expectations, and the pressure to succeed. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to make the process approachable, especially for those new to therapy or from immigrant and first-gen families.
I was born in California and spent many of my childhood summers in Michoacán, Mexico. That experience deeply shaped my cultural identity and my sensitivity to Latino experiences. It’s important to me that you feel seen, heard, and supported as you move through your healing journey.

Who I Work With
Therapy is for anyone looking to feel more connected, calm, and understood
I provide therapy for adults (18+) who are:
- Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge
- Struggling with grief and loss
- Going through a major change in life, identity, or relationships
- Adjusting to a new culture or immigration-related challenges
- Looking to process past experiences and feel more in control
All sessions are provided via secure telehealth for clients located in California.
Why I Chose This Work
Therapy should feel like a space where you can be yourself
I became a therapist because I want to help reduce the stigma around mental health, especially in the Latinx community. Growing up, therapy wasn’t something that was talked about openly. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe to share, reflect, and heal without judgment. Everyone deserves support and tools that help them move forward.
My Style and Approach
Therapy with me is a collaborating experience
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients understand their thoughts, process difficult memories, and build skills for emotional resilience. My sessions are paced to match your needs. I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and support you in making meaningful changes.
